Services and Fees

The rate for all services is $50 per hour.

Developmental Edit

A developmental edit is the highest level of editing. It ensures that the purpose and target audience are clear, that organization and structure are sound, and that all the information that's needed (and no more) is present. Sometimes known as concept or structural edit.

Substantive Edit

For clients who seek help with reorganizing, tightening, reducing, or simplifying content. Includes suggested rephrasing for smoothness and clarity.

Line Edit

Similar to substantive edit, but on a smaller scale. Includes examining the text line by line and marking changes to sharpen the writing, improve clarity and flow, and ensure consistency. Also includes correcting errors in syntax, punctuation, grammar, and spelling, and suggesting alternative wording when the meaning is unclear.
