I offer substantive editing to writers and authors who seek help with reorganizing, tightening, reducing, or simplifying content. Rephrasing for smoothness and clarity are included.

Copyediting

Involves ensuring consistency, correcting grammar and usage, and making simple revisions to clarify awkward or confusing passages.

Writing

I write articles, procedures, proposals, reports, user guides, and web content.

Writing requires research: interviewing experts, locating and studying pertinent written information, and sometimes using a system that is being documented.
